We are sorry to announce that we are not taking on any more NHS patients at the current time.
At Blyth Dental we
offer the availability of NHS care to all our patients
and our list is currently open. We have a contract
with Northumberland
Care Trust to provide
52000 units of dental activity per year. Once we have
completed all of these we will endeavor to commission
more so that NHS care is always available for everyone
at all times.
The new NHS contact delivers dentistry in three simple
bands
If you normally pay for NHS dental treatment, there
will be three
standard charges.
The amount you pay
will depend on the treatment you need to
keep your teeth and gums healthy.
You will pay one
of the three charges to the right:
|
|
£16.20
This charge will include an examination, diagnosis and
preventive
care. If necessary, this will include X-rays, scale and
polish, and
planning for further treatment.
Urgent and out-of-hours care will also cost £16.20.
OR
£44.60
This charge includes all necessary treatment covered
by the £16.20 charge PLUS additional treatment
such as fillings, root
canal treatment or extractions.
OR
£198.00
This charge includes all necessary treatment covered
by the £16.20 and £44.60 charges PLUS more
complex procedures
such as crowns, dentures or bridges.(where clinically
necessary)
This will provide you with all the dental care necessary
to maintain oral health. All our NHS care uses the
very latest materials to the very highest standards
however does not include Cosmetic Care, Implants or
Elective work. All patients will be given a printed
treatment plan and estimate for complex work (Band 2
and 3) and our staff are always available to discuss
your treatment needs and charges.
